Hampshire Training Providers is a non-profit organisation that provides quality land-based and agricultural training to a wide variety of businesses across Hampshire and West Wiltshire. We are always willing to talk through your training options without any obligation. You can talk to us on the phone, by email or we can come and visit you – whichever suits you.
Some funding will be available for anyone who spends at least 50% of their working time in a business that is dependant on agriculture, horticulture or forestry. This will be from October till June. This will be mainly for Management, Advanced Agronomy and food technology courses only. There will be a small amount for the some of the practical courses, so early booking is recommended to take advantage of this.

First Aid Courses available
3 Day (18 hrs) First Aid at Work
1 day specifically for Horse Riders
1 day specifically for Motor Bike or Quad Bikers
2 day specifically for Childminders and Nursery Teachers
2 hour uncertificated Family First Aid. (Covers what to do for burns, scalds, choking, head injuries, bleeding, unconciousness, heat attack etc.)
HSE Recommendations are now that anyone holding a Emergency FA certificate should do a 3 hour refresher annually for 2 years then a full one day course every 3rd year.
For the FA at Work certificate, a 3 hour refresher for 2 years then a 2 day requalification in the 3rd year
Looking ahead, we are running the following courses:
Vehicle and trailed appliance Health Check (1 Day)
A new course on offer for operators with minimal experience of operational
safety checks.
Course content: Operation safety checks to tractors and trailers.
Carry out dynamic brake testing on both tractor and trailer.
